The College Board has announced the 2021 National Merit Semifinalists. Conestoga High School once AGAIN has the largest number of National Merit semifinalists in the entire state of Pennsylvania.
There are 39 semifinalists from Conestoga who reached this significant milestone of academic excellence based on their performance on the 2021 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT). In the United States there are only 16,000 National Merit semifinalists which represents less than 1% of the graduating seniors in high schools across our nation.
These academically talented high school seniors will go on to compete for some 7,600 scholarships through the National Merit Corporation or its sponsoring organizations.
