Easttown Township seeks a volunteer for a vacant position on its Zoning Hearing Board (ZHB). The ZHB’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, hearing and deciding on: substantive challenges to the validity of any Township land use ordinance, except those brought before the Board of Supervisors; appeals from Zoning Officer and Township Engineer determinations regarding zoning and floodplain management regulations; and variances and special exceptions from zoning and floodplain management regulations. Interested candidates must be residents of the Township with the flexibility to meet in the evening when hearings are scheduled as needed. The term of this vacancy expires December 31, 2022.
