We’re urging interested Democrats to please apply for a vacant volunteer position on the Easttown Citizens Advisory Committee (ECAC). The Easttown Citizens Advisory Committee (ECAC) is comprised of 5 to 9 members, serving 2 year terms, and are appointed by the Board of Supervisors because they possess skills, including, but not limited to: accounting, human resources and benefits, information technology, insurance, risk management, labor relations, management, and procurement.
Though accounting for only 47% of registered voters in Easttown Township, 79% of the members on current Boards and Commissions are Republican! We need more Democratic voices speaking up at Board and Commission meetings so please make a difference and volunteer.
ECAC Committee members serve two year terms and meet at the Township Building on second Monday of every month at 6:15 pm. Qualifications include being an Easttown Township resident with availability to attend these monthly public meetings as well as additional time that may be required to complete projects. To apply, please submit a letter of interest and resume via email by Friday, August 16. If you have any questions, contact Dan Fox, Township Manager at 610-687-3000, extension 113.
