A new proposed amendment to the Pennsylvania Constitution is on the November 5th General Election ballot. Read an overview and summary of those for and opposed on Ballotpedia, League of Women Voters of Chester County, Wikipedia, NPR, and the Philadelphia Inquirer.
There will be a non-partisan information session with opposing views and Q&A at 7:30 Thursday, October 24 at the township building to help voters learn about this proposed amendment to the Pennsylvania constitution. The event will be free and open to the public (not just Easttown residents). Please share with your civic-minded friends!
A “yes” vote supports this measure to add specific rights of crime victims, together known as a Marsy’s Law, to the Pennsylvania Constitution. A “no” vote opposes this measure to add specific rights of crime victims, together known as a Marsy’s Law, to the Pennsylvania Constitution.
