Making Our Democracy Work in PA Forum, Sat, March 7

March 7, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Do you wonder why we can’t seem to tackle critical issues like climate change, gun violence, and fair school funding?

Join Adam Eichen, author and Campaigns Manager of Equal Citizens, and Rabbi Michael Pollack, Executive Director of MarchOnHarrisburg, for a conversation about our broken democracy and how we dig our way out of this absurd moment in our history. They will follow the money and discuss the latest developments in the Democracy Movement in Pennsylvania, democracy wins in other states, and how to fight and win on the ground in Southeastern Pennsylvania. They will provide concrete action items for attendees to advance anti- gerrymandering and anti-corruption legislation in Harrisburg.

MarchOnHarrisburg is a nonpartisan, statewide, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to ending Pennsylvania corruption and taking our democracy to where it’s never been. We advocate for pro-democracy legislation by lobbying, marching and engaging in nonviolent civil disobedience. Currently, we are working to pass legislation that would end legalized bribery, end gerrymandering and expand voting rights.
