Young and Naive Rally: Our Time to Rise

Join a rally in Downingtown this Saturday, July 28th, sponsored by the Sunrise Movement, a nonpartisan nationwide organization dedicated to stopping the climate crisis. The organization has Pennsylvania locations in Philadelphia, Downingtown and Lancaster and “builds an army of young people” to share facts on climate change and holds politicians accountable for accepting contributions from the fossil fuel industry. As they note on their website:

Check out this video showing Rose Strauss, an 18 year old from Downingtown and a member of the Sunrise Movement, politely asking Republican gubernatorial candidate Scott Wagner about his absurd views on climate change and the $200,000 in campaign contributions he received from fossil fuel executives. You will be astonished at his condescending answer.
