During the past ten years, the number of registered Easttown Democrats has been steadily increasing as the township grows and its population becomes younger. For the first time anyone can remember, Democrats have finally caught up to the Republicans and each party now accounts for 41% of registered voters! Independents account for 17% of registered voters.

Demographically, Easttown Democrats are attracting more women and younger voters. Women account for 59% of registered Democrats compared to 48% of registered Republicans while registered voters under 40 years old account for 37% of Easttown Democrats compared to 25% of Easttown Republicans.
