GOP Voter Edge Shrinking in Chester County

Recent Chester County voter registration data last updated on April 29th reflects a continual positive trend for Democrats.  As of April 29th, there were 148,600 registered Republicans, 138,230 registered Democrats, and 61,266 voters registered as Independent or Non-Affiliated. Republicans account for 42.6% of the voters versus 39.7% for Democrats and 17.6% for Independents or Non-Affiliated.

It’s interesting to note that younger voters ages 18-44 have registered as Democrats in much greater numbers than Republican younger voters. The Republicans continue to lead in registrations for ages over 45.
